Forager Foundation

Heritage sites are the heart of our shared history and culture, yet many are at risk of closure or neglect. Forager Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Forager International, is dedicated to ensuring their preservation and continued vitality.

Through the foundation, we focus on identifying at-risk heritage sites and developing sustainable management or co-management structures to keep them open for future generations. Drawing inspiration from successful models like Parks Canada and English Heritage, Forager Foundation is building a network of heritage sites that prioritize sustainability through collaborative partnerships.

Our efforts go beyond saving physical spaces; they are about safeguarding the stories, traditions, and identities that shape our communities. By working closely with local organizations and stakeholders, we help ensure these sites remain accessible, vibrant, and inspiring to visitors from around the world.
